About This Treatment

Neck and nape waxing removes stray hairs from the back of the neck and nape, defining and cleaning the hairline for a sharp, well-groomed look. The treatment takes just 15 minutes and is ideal for maintaining a polished appearance between barber or salon visits.

How It Works

1

Skin prep

The area is cleansed and a light pre-wax oil or powder is applied to protect the skin and ensure the wax grips only the hair, not the surface cells.

2

Wax application

Warm wax is applied at a safe, controlled temperature. For sensitive areas, hard wax is used — it sets firm and is removed without a strip.

3

Removal

The wax is removed in one swift, confident motion. Speed and angle are everything — a skilled pull minimises discomfort and prevents breakage.

4

Finishing

Any stray hairs are removed with tweezers. A soothing after-wax lotion containing aloe vera and azulene is applied to calm redness and close the follicle.

What You Can Expect

Removes hair at the root — smooth skin for 2–6 weeks
Finer, sparser regrowth with each session over time
Exfoliates the surface layer of dead skin as it removes hair
Hard wax used on sensitive areas — gentler than strip wax
Single-use applicators — strict no double-dip policy

Before Your Visit

  • Hair should be at least ¼ inch (6 mm) long — length of a grain of rice.
  • Exfoliate the area gently 24 hours before your appointment to reduce ingrown hairs.
  • Avoid retinol, AHA/BHA acids, and Accutane for at least 5 days before waxing — these thin the skin.
  • Skip sunbathing, tanning beds, and sun exposure 48 hours before.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing to avoid friction on freshly waxed skin.

After Your Visit

  • Avoid touching the waxed area with unwashed hands for 24 hours.
  • No heat — hot showers, saunas, or exercise that causes heavy sweating for 24 hours (open follicles are vulnerable to bacteria).
  • No sun exposure or tanning for 48 hours — freshly waxed skin burns more easily.
  • Begin exfoliating 48–72 hours after waxing, 2–3 times per week, to prevent ingrown hairs.
  • Moisturise daily with a fragrance-free lotion to keep skin smooth.

No — this is a myth. Waxing removes hair at the root. With repeated sessions, hair typically grows back finer and lighter.

You're in Good Hands

We use a sensitive wax made with Aloe Vera and maintain our wax warmer at the correct temperature. Every applicator is used once and discarded.
