How It Works

After wax esthetician uses the device in its intended manner. Sometimes there will be a small shock.
Integration
Add-ons are typically performed after extractions and before the mask stage of your facial, at the point where skin is most receptive to active treatments.
Treatment
The add-on is applied with the appropriate technique — energy-based devices, manual tools, or active serums — for 15–25 minutes depending on the treatment.
Completion
The facial continues to its normal conclusion, with any products chosen to complement and enhance the add-on benefits.
What You Can Expect
Before Your Visit
- This is done after a wax appointment with me.
- If you are booked for a chemical peel, avoid retinol and AHAs for 5 days prior.
- Avoid waxing the face within 1 week of a peel or microdermabrasion.
After Your Visit
- Same as waxing aftercare instructions.
- After microdermabrasion or chemical peel, avoid direct sun exposure for 48 hours and apply SPF 30+ daily.
- After LED light therapy, no special aftercare is needed — skin is unaffected externally.
